The Gate of Answer

I stood at the gate of answer, and was told to wait.
The sun went down.
The stars wore their crown.
The moon looked down upon me with her cold but gentle temperament.
Still, no answer was given unto me.
The morning dawned, and still, no answer was given unto me.
I started to get impatient and weary.
I knocked, and a man came towards me and told me to ‘wait’.
I told him, ‘ I have been WAITING!!!’
Which he replied, ‘patience my child patience. Your time is not the right time’.
Once again, I found myself waiting.
It rained.
The midsummer reigned.
Life was breathed into the trees.
Dark green leaves and the safety of their canopies.
The sun danced around with its flames, and all things illuminated her golden hues.
Then death came and lulled them to sleep.
AND I WAS STILL WAITING.
But, in waiting I found peace.
In waiting, I found gratitude.
In waiting, I found joy.
Finally, the door opened,
And I realized why I had to wait.
For in waiting, the gifts that were given on to me became more precious.
For in waiting, my questions became an answer.
For in waiting, they became more dearer to me.
For in waiting, I realized, I wasn’t waiting, no, I was being prepared to receive the abundant blessings that I received from Him who reigns above.
Sometimes even after waiting, we don't end up getting the answer we wanted, or we thought we needed. But I believe just as there can be pain in waiting, there can also be joy in waiting.
See You Later, Abigael

This is so true my dear... Well written...
