9:00 got ready and toke the subway to the louvre museum.

Four hours later…my legs are not mine anymore.

The Louvre…ah where do I start. Before going I had a few painters whose work I wanted to see. Rembrandt, Vermeer, Ruisdael, Reuben, etc. so as soon as I entered the Louvre, off to the Northern European section I went. And oh!! I enjoyed it very much. I spent very precious minutes just sitting down and taking it all in the Rembrandt section. He is probably my favorite painter. There is something about his works, you can totally see it in the colors and paint textures. I might call it a certain vibe. The Rembrandt vibe. I was also very lucky because I got to see two of Michelangelo works. You know the feeling of reading about someone and actually getting to see something they made in real life yeah that was exactly what I was feeling when I saw the two marble sculptures. Then of course I had see to Liberty Leading the people by Delacroix and THE MONA LISA. The crowed that was there just to see the Mona Lisa was insane. Crowds and crowds of people.

2:15 had Pho for lunch! It was really good. Then I did some shopping and the girls meet me at Saint Paul where we did some thrift shopping.

4:30 the girls left for Champ de Mars while I went  back to the hostel to change and charge my phone. After that I also went to Champ de Mars where we had a picnic with some of our other tour friends.

6:30 took the metro to supper. We had beef, potatoes with poTAtoes on the side.

10:02 back at the hostel for our last night in Paris.

Our tour guide came to talk to us for awhile and he told us that we are the first Holderman Mennonite that he has ever meet. He was very intrigued about our religion and our way of life. We had a bit of a history discussion which I absolutely enjoyed. Our tour guide is a 26 year old man, young and curious. We talked to him for at least an hour. It was great.

Now Lorz will be giving me a massage that I absolutely deserve. Bliss.

See you later,

Abigael
