It has been awhile yep it has been awhile:;)

I finally decided that it was time to write something for the blog. So here goes nothing…

I started nursing school at the end of August so that has been a whirlwind of homework, simulations, and lab work. I would compare nursing school to trying to drink water out of a fire hose; it is brutal but you learn, you have to learn how to do it and do it well. So, even though I am in nursing school, I still have a life outside of school, ya know like being a WIFE. The man that I live with has been nothing but a supportive angel. He cooks on the days that I am in school(two days a week). He takes care of me more than I take care of him. (The editor disagrees with the previous sentence.) Enough of the mushiness.

I do not remember everything that has happened since the last time that I posted on this blog. For awhile I struggled because I wasn’t so sure of what to write about and then all of a sudden I felt as if I had too much to write about and now I DON’T EVEN REMEMBER ALL OF IT!  Ha! I lost my windshield to the gravel on Hwy 58. I was traumatized for quite awhile. It was such a feeling of bad luck. I was driving to school that fateful morning on the way to take my first nursing school exam. I was stressed. A few weeks later, i drove over a metal object on Hwy 412. At this point I was 100 percent the universe was working against me. I pulled into the nearest gas station and there was a woman who had also drove over it. She was in a worse situation than I was. I called the husband and oh by the way this was also on my way to school! Anyways husband was calm so I was able to calm down. Thankfully there were a bunch of electrical guys that were on their way to their job site so some of them stayed back, and changed my tire for me. The weekend arrived and we hosted the multifamily garage sale at our house! It was fun but we will not be having another one for the next 10 years if that decision is up to me to make.

And then, this past weekend Kaycee got married! Woohoo! She was a beautiful bride:) I may or may not have cried. Josh and Renae stayed at our place over the weekend, and we enjoyed having them here even though we only saw them a few times! They were busy!

When people ask me where I was from and I tell them New York. Often times the question that succeeds that is, “do you miss it”? Yes yes I do but it feels different, I do not live in a town of 18,000+ people, target isn’t a 10 minutes drive away. But because the two places are so different, it has been a little bit easier for me to not to so homesick. BUT, the weather! Where are my fall colors, thankfully the temperature has dropped this past few days but still…I miss the trees and the colors that crowns their leaves.

Anyways this is the end of my yapping and rambling!

Love Abigael

Joyful

Do I have joy in my heart? Do people feel joyful around me? What brings me joy? There are things that bring me joy, but at the same time they bring tears to my eyes. I am a very emotional person. Anyt
