Update

Hello dear readers,

It has been awhile since I have last posted on this blog. Do not worry I am not dead but I have being simply living life quite vivaciously. I got married in June. The weather was beautiful, the singing was gorgeous, the flowers were a dream come true. There are things that I wish were perfect but life in not being perfect makes things more memorably perfect in its beautiful way. The food both days were delicious. Nigerian food for the friends and family supper and then Italian food for the reception. We were lovingly assaulted with rice at our sendoff, stickers on our car, “honk for a kiss”, and CRINGY COUPLE pasted on our car. It was a party. It was pretty cool that a lot of people honked at us…is this the taste of being famous? Honeymoon was great…we went to the New England Coast (NewPort RI and Camden Maine). New port is an historic town full of extravagant mansion full of tourist and it is the sailing capital of the East Coast. Fun fact we actually went on a cruise on a sailboat. Camden is more of a typical small town of rural coastal Maine that looks like it is straight out of an Andrew Wyeth painting (courtesy of Brother Brandt). After the honeymoon we went back to Poughkeepsie, loaded up my belongings and began our journey to Fairview Oklahoma. Life in fairview has been great, the weather well…it is kind of great:). We live very close to our siblings so I have spent a lot of time at each of their homes. I have the nicest sister-in-laws anyone could ever ask for. They had told me not to write anything about them in the blog but how else can I make sure that everyone knows that I have nice sisters. My brothers well…they are brothers. They like to bully me (well the lies I tell. I probably bully them more than they bully me). It seems like a lot has happened in the span of a few weeks…I suppose that’s just the way summer works. Hopefully as the months go by life slows down a little bit.

This blog feels a little different from the ones that I have written. Maybe it is because it has been awhile. Whatever it is I hope you enjoyed reading my ramblings.
